$601,121 – What Can You Get For This Much Cash?

December 30, 2010

The Crown Heights Jewish Community Council Inc. (CHJCC) has spent in fiscal year 2008 a combined $601,121.00 on office supplies, office expenses and materials.

To illustrate this amount WIS decided to complied a list of what can be purchased with the kind of money. (we looked for what we thought might have been bought and did not hold back on listing the most expensive products.)
…..
58 Sharp MX-4501N Copier at $10,330.30

150 Dell Precision T3500 at $3,999.00

175 4-Drawer Lateral Fire File at $3,417.89

62,878 Post-it Mini Cubes, 3,400-Sheet Pads at $9.56

103 Powershred HS-880 Shredder Taa Compliant at $5,799.00
…….

Hope you get the point. You can do your own research on what you think is needed in such a big office that “help” so many people. Something is terribly wrong over at the CHJCC.  When so much money is just missing. It seems that between Chanina Sperlin, Eli Cohen, and the other Mossrim like Polotrak helped themselves to some serious cash.

This was fiscal year 2008, yet, it seems Zaki b. Tamir is going down the same path, or is it that the Sperlin family and Eli Cohen told him you are playing a high stakes game so sit and shut-up and do as you are told.

Much more to come….

State Sen. Eric Adams – ‘Care’less charity

December 26, 2010

State Sen. Eric Adams awarding the Shmira Mesira who DELIBERATELY beat up Andrew Charles as a result brought Crown Heights to the brink of another riot.

NYPOST

WIS:

You see my brothers and sisters, if you parade around Mossrim like the Shmira Mesira and the Mesira Machine that supports them (Chanina Sperlin, Eli Cohen and Gang) it wont take long until you start to fall and fall hard.

EXCLUSIVE

State Sen. Eric Adams funneled $30,000 in taxpayer money to a nonprofit he founded, 100 Blacks Who Care, but doesn’t know how, or if, the money was spent.

The Brooklyn group, which got $15,000 in 2008, didn’t record the money, as required on its federal tax returns, or document any expenses.

OUTSPOKEN: State Sen. Eric Adams (center) in 1999, when he was an NYPD officer and a leader of the group 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care.

“Once the money is turned over to an organization, we, as elected officials, can’t get involved in how they use it. I don’t know how it’s used,” Adams told The Post last week.

The Brooklyn Democrat said he couldn’t remember, without checking his records, why he gave the organization the “member item” grants in the first place.

Noel Leader, the group’s treasurer, who, like Adams, is a former cop and co-founder of 100 Blacks, told The Post that the organization hadn’t received any funding in years and that he did not recall receiving the state funds.

He later said a $5,000 allocation from the state Education Department was probably used for supplies.

“I vaguely remember the $5,000 being used for the workshops, to buy equipment we utilize during the workshops. We have a lot of props, sound equipment, things of that nature,” he said.

Adams, Leader and Vernon Wells founded 100 Blacks in the mid-1990s as a nonprofit to give grants of $1,000 a month “to a worthy cause in the African-American community.”

Corruption

December 25, 2010

“Corruption is like a ball of snow, once it’s set a rolling it must increase.”

“It is said that power corrupts, but actually it’s more true that power attracts the corruptible. The sane are usually attracted by other things than power.”

“The first sign of corruption in a society that is still alive is that the end justifies the means”

“Money and Corruption Are ruining the land Crooked politicians Betray the working man, Pocketing the profits And treating us like sheep, And we’re tired of hearing promises That we know they’ll never keep”

“Power corrupts. Knowledge is power. Study hard. Be evil.”

“Corruption has its own motivations, and one has to thoroughly study that phenomenon and eliminate the foundations that allow corruption to exist.”

$106,643 Worth Of Conferences? How Come We Haven’t Heard Of Them?

December 23, 2010

In fiscal year 2008-2009 the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council Inc. Under Chanina Sperlin, Eli Poltorak, Zev Cadaner and Fishel Brownstein, with Executive director Eli Cohen (who Zaki b. Tamir does not have the cojones to fire)  spent $106,643 on “Conferences”.

So much money spent on so called conferences yet so little spent on advertisements and promotion?  The Crown Heights Jewish Community Council Inc. reported for fiscal year 2008-2009 spending a mere $1,803 on advertisement and promotions.

Was the money used perhaps to fund Mendle Handels “Kinnus”?
We know what the money was not used for, and that is to help the poor families of Crown Heights.
Exactly what kind of conferences do they need anyways?

Time For Inspector Peter Simonetti Of The 71st Precinct To Go!

December 21, 2010

Inspector Peter Simonetti Of The 71st Precinct

The only reason Inspector Peter Simonetti is still in Crown Heights, 71st Precinct despite  crime spiking high is only because the Mesira Machine (which also backs the Shmira Mesira) wants him here. As long as Simonetti is doing the  Mesira Machines will, he will be here.

The Machine (Chanina Sperlin, Eli Cohen with their Crown Heights Jewish community Council Inc.) has been giving direct orders to Simonetti to attack Shomrim and it’s volunteers in any way possible. Ever since the new inspector has arrived to Crown Heights thats all he has been focused on. Who has time to fight crime when you have to focus all your man power and energy on one individual and his organization from East New York Ave, who drive scooters.

When Inspector Frank Vega did not heed the Mesira Machines call to attack Shomrim and its volunteers he was given the boot. All of a sudden Crown Heights had “leaders” that knew how to stick up for the community. We know now that it was only self serving.

The realty of the matter is: Crime was very much down when Inspector Frank Vega was commander of the 71st precinct.
Crime has spiked since Inspector Peter Semonetti has become the commander of the 71st precinct.

Another important fact: It was in Inspectors Vegas tenner that Shmira member Yitzchok Shuchat deliberately beat Andrew Charles, which almost caused another riot in the streets of Crown Heights, which would have endangered every Crown heights resident and as a matter of fact as a result of Shmira member Yitzchok Shuchats reckless actions (shortly after) a few Jewish residents were ruthlessly attacked.

Popack thinks that he can buy the community with a few dollars, money that is really kickback for the weather/window program he gets from the CHJCC. The Sperlin family, gets their buildings from HPD meant for the poor people of the community. He too fills it with garbage in order to profit. “Jews have a hard time paying rent” or “Jews need renovated kitchens or appartments” say the building owners. Flash Back 1997: Shomrim Ask, “Where Is The Money?”

December 20, 2010

Some Background: 1996, before the brake off, on the advice from a Williamsburg Shomrim Coordinator who pointed out that “Shmira’ is for dead people“, the Shmira organization changed it’s name to Shomrim.

January 1999, as a result of a robbery on a Gemach in Canada(read all about that by clicking here), a vote was held and a member was thrown out of the Shomrim organization. Yanky Prager a thug decided with some others that they will brake off from Shomrim and bring the ‘Shmira’ back to life. This brake-off was an opportunity for Chanina Sperlin to have a so called “patrol” under his wings in-order to funnel government grants his way, without anybody questioning about ‘where the money for the people is?”‘.

This is when the members of the new organization calling itself  ‘Shmira’ became everything that Shomrim did not want to become…The ‘Shmira’ became the henchmen or ‘Sheriffs’ and Mossrim of the Vaad. Currently (following a Mossers tradition), the shmira mesira has joined the ranks of NYPD by joining the COP program giving them more opportunities for Mesira.

This letter was written before the brake-off.

B”H

April 30, 1997

Dear Anash,

About two and a half months ago Shomrim gave out a letter stating that the Vaad Hakahal took away money that we raised from the community, for “their own personal use”. Shomrim would like to make it clear that they were not using this money, but were withholding it in the hope of closing Shomrim down. We would also like to take this opportunity to tell you about the incidents leading to the withholding of our money and to update you on the situation between Shomrim and the Vaad Hakahal.

Several months ago there was an argument between a member of Shomrim and a member of the Vaad Hakahal. This was a personal argument that had nothing to do with either organization. The Vaad Hakahal, however, decided that this dispute should involve all of the Shomrim, even though we pointed out that this was only between two people. The argument was soon blown out of proportions.

We were trying to sit down with the Vaad Hakahal to discuss this from the beginning. Only after four weeks did they finally agree to talk with us. Things at this point were very tense between the two organizations. The Vaad Hakahal had already taken away Shomrim’s money and changed the lock on the Crown Heights Community Council, our base of operations.

Shomrim sat with the Vaad Hakahal for nine hours. The only outcome of this meeting was that the Vaad Hakahal wanted us to become the “sheriffs” of Crown Heights. They wanted us to investigate all “terrorist acts”. They also wanted us to go to the police even if there was a problem between two Jews. We informed them that Shomrim are here to protect the Jews of Crown Heights, not to מוסר [Mosser/Inform], on them.

After this meeting the Vaad Hakahal hired a company to shut down our repeater. A repeater allows Shomrim units to speak to each other on their radios. Without it our radios would not transmit and there would be no communication between units during serious Shomrim calls. That could lead to a very dangerous situation.

Another way that the Vaad Hakahal struck at Shomrim was their resolve of the situation that occurred on May 9th. On that day, as you may know, Yoske Prus and another Shomrim unit were arrested during a call. Baruch Bush, a member of the Vaad Hakahal, was called that night at nine o’clock and said in answer to the request for help, “I am too tired for this garbage.” Also, the Vaad Hakahal promised to pay all the lawyers’ fees after they were arrested. When the case ended, however, they said they had already paid the fees and anything that was left over was not going to be paid by them because the case was over. This was said even after the Vaad Hakahal told Yoske Prus lawyer that they would pay everything in full. To make matters even worse, the lawyer stated, “This is Lubavitch? This is fruma yiddin that say they are going to pay and don’t?” The Chillul Hashem that the Vaad Hakahal has caused is unspeakable.

As yet the bill remains unpaid. After years of service to this community, Yoske Prus, a man with a wife and children who ran on calls day and night, was thrown to the dogs by the Vaad Hakahal even though he had nothing to do with the initial argument. Now Yoske Prus is being forced to borrow from Private people to pay the lawyer’s fees. The only thing he has done “wrong” was protect this community. Does he deserve to be treated this way?

The greatest blow from the Vaad Hakahal to date deals with a grant that the government gives every year through the Vaad Hakahal, for the sole purpose of Shomrim’s use. Since 1991 the New York State Government has given a grant to the Shomrim for $17,000 a year, which to date totals $119,000. Not only did Shomrim not receive this money but we did not even know that this grant existed until a friend in Albany asked us if we were spending the money for good purposes. When Shomrim discovered this in 1994 we confronted the Vaad Hakahal and began receiving $10,000 a year. When we inquired about the other $7,000 we were told that it went to the Vaad Hakahal for “filing the papers”. Shomrim had no choice but to let them keep the money because we were told that if we protested we wouldn’t even get the $10,000.

Now, the $17,000 for 1997 was received by the Vaad Hakahal and “diverted” by them. Shomrim did not receive one penny of the grant meant for us to buy equipment (i.e. radios) and pay for the phone line that you call for emergencies. To date there is $89,000 that Shomrim has not received from the Vaad Hakahal. Without this money or the money we raised from the community that is being withheld by the Vaad Hakahal, Shomrim cannot function. We cannot have the Vaad Hakahal fighting us while we are trying to protect the community.

Remember that we are there when you need us. Please be there for us on May 18, 1997 when you vote for the Vaad Hakahal.

To Serve the Residents Of Crown Heights OR to Serve the Mendle Hendel?

December 19, 2010

The Crown Heights Jewish Community Council Inc. works hard to get politician to allocate money for the community. Obviously, using the name of the community. Yet, where has all the money gone? We know what they received, do we know where it has gone?

In 2009 the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council has received many grants, one of the many was to the tune of  $82,000 all in order to help as the grant says….

FUNDS WILL BE USED TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES UNDER STRESS AND IN DANGER OF BECOMING DYSFUNCTIONAL AND/OR ABUSIVE, THROUGH EARLY INTERVENTION AND THE GUIDANCE OF TRAINED SOCIAL WORKERS AND VOLUNTEERS. PROGRAMS ARE OPEN TO ALL ON A NON−SECTARIAN BASIS.

Do you have a friend or family in distress? Do you have a neighbor on edge?

In the coming days we will reveal how this money [your money] ended up in Mendle Hendel pockets.

Why Chanina Sperlin is still in the council?

Instead of getting to the people in need this money has been stolen on the way. All this and more coming up right here on WIS…..

A Shtetl Divided: Mossrim [Rats] on One Side, Shomrim On The Other

December 19, 2010

Highlights From: A Shtetl Divided By Matthew Shaer

…..

One damp day in November 2009, I took the subway to the Brooklyn Supreme Courthouse, where six members of the Crown Heights Shomrim were on trial for gang assault. Proceedings were scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m., but by 10:30 the judge had not yet appeared, and I found a seat at the back of the gallery, next to a young Hasidic attorney named Isaac Tamir. Around us, the Lubavitchers in attendance chattered anxiously—the men worrying the fringes of their ritual undergarments and the women clutching Gucci handbags and working the touchscreens of their BlackBerries.

“You know, I’m always looking for reporters to cover my cases,” Tamir whispered to me. “Maybe we can work something out.” He was wearing a stained tie knotted loosely around his neck; his suit looked a size too big. He said he’d once worked as an assistant district attorney in Brooklyn, and I asked him whether he thought the jury would understand the complexities of the Shomrim case.

“They don’t have to understand everything,” he said. “They just have to understand what the whole thing is really about.”

“What is it really about?”

“The feud, of course.” He opened his blue eyes wide. I had shown my ignorance. “Without the feud, there wouldn’t have been the brawl. Without the feud, the Shomrim would never have been charged. The feud is the reason six Jewish boys are on trial.”

Two years earlier, Shomrim dispatch had received a call about a disturbance at the yeshiva dormitory at 749 Eastern Parkway. Witnesses later reported seeing six Shomrim punch, strangle, and kick their way through a crowd of rabbinical students. The Shomrim claimed to have been ambushed. A video recorded by one of the students seemed to back this up: on the tape, the Shomrim are trapped, hemmed in on all sides by a mass of black hats and coats.

Had it not been for the efforts of a Lubavitch lawyer named Levi Huebner, the police probably would have been content to issue a few desk-appearance tickets for misdemeanor assault. But Huebner, who is himself a member of the Crown Heights Shmira, had relentlessly pushed the city to go after the Shomrim; he was also pursuing a multimillion-dollar lawsuit on behalf of the rabbinical students. A source at the D.A.’s office told me that Huebner was providing essential aid to the prosecution—translating for the victims, producing witnesses, identifying Shomrim. Without Huebner, there would be no trial. I asked Tamir whether people were angry with Huebner. “Why?” he said. I suggested that, historically, internal Jewish disputes had been settled by Jewish courts. He shrugged. “It’s not like that anymore. People go to secular courts all the time.”

That was essentially true— Lubavitchers, like all Americans, have become ever more litigious in recent years—but I later learned that many people were furious at Huebner. They believed that because he is aligned with the messianist camp in Crown Heights, Huebner had both religious and political reasons to go after the Shomrim, a group composed mostly of moderate, non-messianist Lubavitchers.

“What will happen to the Shomrim?” I asked Tamir. He didn’t know. “I have to go visit a client.” He pressed a business card emblazoned with his head shot into my hand. “Call me,” he said.

Revealed: Zaki Forced the Rabbis to Sign by Threatening to Cut Their Pay

December 17, 2010

Be A Man And Take The Blame – Don’t Put Blame On The Rabbis – It’s All Yours

December 16, 2010

Source: OyGevald.org

One week ago a letter signed by two members of the Crown Heights Beth Din was leaked on chabad.info.

It was a general letter addressed to the community regarding community policing matters.

What were they trying to say?

Only a few days later did the real authors of the letter [Zaki b. Tamir and Eli Cohen from The CHJCC] went on collive.com to explain what the letter really was intended for. Tamir and Cohen spent over 20 minutes doing just that.

Why did they need [to have] the Rabonim  write a letter to the community? Why not write it themselves, after all they were elected into office by the community?.

This just shows how they use the Rabonim time and time again to push their own agenda, all they really wanted to do was shift the blame, they simply needed a someone else to fall on.

Notice how Zaki who is said to have written the letter tries to make as if he asked the Rabonim what they meant.

Why is Zaki explaining a letter that “the Rabonim wrote”?

Is it because he is the “leader” of the community, then why didn’t he write it and sign it?

This letter was clearly written by a lawyer, so why did Zaki need the Beth Din letter head and Beth Din signatures?

All just to shift the blame!

Shifting the blame does not work anymore. We know your game and how you play it. We learned the moves. Like a chess game, check mate.

You know of all the other times in history where people said, “Gee, they took this away and I didn’t say anything, took that away and didn’t say anything. There will not be an excuse down the road for somebody to say, “Nobody told me. Why didn’t somebody tell us this? I just didn’t know,” because you are being told, I’m the guy telling you!. You have been warned!
