This story keeps getting better and better at each passing day.
It has come to CHLEAKS.COM attention that a few Crown Heightsers have invested big money in ‘COTS’.

Did you notice that in this whole Oholei Torah; Call of the Shofer’ saga the name Nachman Schapiro has not been mentioned once. Why is that?
Read it here: Hebrew- 12-30-13 Chabad Info- ‘call of the Shofer’- Whats the Noise and Whats the commotion.
Note: It also comes at no surprise that chabadinfo did not translate this article (in full) into English.
Is it a surprise? Absolutely not.
Bias? Absolutely Yes!
Jerusalem – In a recent thought-provoking op-ed, noted philosopher, and prolific author, Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz discusses the fact that it has historically been the Jewish religious leaders, as opposed to political figure heads, who have “molded and formed” the “inner essence” of Jewry, and who have “set the course of the world” by acting as “the heads of the thousands of Israel” according to the Torah, and with that in mind, Siensaltz then proceeds to ask the poignant question; “Are the contemporary leaders of Jewry truly the leaders of this generation?”
My position on this issue:
I agree with everything that was discussed at the Kinnus on Tuesday, 21 Tevet 5774 (December 21, 2013).

Chumash with Rashi for Shemot:
11. Now it came to pass in those days that Moses grew up and went out to his brothers and looked at their burdens, and he saw an Egyptian man striking a Hebrew man of his brothers.
12. He turned this way and that way, and he saw that there was no man; so he struck the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
The very next day…
13. He went out on the second day, and behold, two Hebrew men were quarreling, and he said to the wicked one, “Why are you going to strike your friend?”
Councilwoman-elect Laurie Cumbo said what she meant and meant what she said. It was her that made the connection between the ‘Knock Out’ and what her fellow blacks were telling her. She made this connections because in her head it made total sense.
I thought to myself, can this really be? Will this letter contain information as to what the CHJCC has been up to since the last elections of 2010? Will this be the letter that will inform us as to how they assisted the [Jewish] needy of this neighborhood? Will the corrupt Cabal of the CHJCC finally tell us how and where they spent $41 Million over the years?
No, it wasn’t anything like that…just another irrelevant distraction.

You’d think NYC Councilwoman-elect Laurie Cumbo was an Arab living in Palestine the way this reads:
DNA INFO – Councilwoman-elect Laurie Cumbo, who was elected to represent Crown Heights starting in January, released an open letter Tuesday saying that many of her black constituents told her they feel threatened by the growth of the neighborhood’s Jewish community — and she fears the tension could be spiking the recent violence.
The Haftorah of Parshas Miketz reveals to us the extent one can be driven when plagued with jealousy. The Haftorah relates the first court decision the wise Shlomo Hamelech rendered after assuming the mantle of leadership. It tells of two women who shared an apartment and both had given birth at the same time. Unfortunately, misfortune struck one of them and her child died in his sleep. One of the women claimed that her child was actually kidnapped by the other woman and replaced by the woman’s dead child and the other totally denied the accusation. Shlomo Hamelech immediately ordered for a sword to be brought and that the live child be divided equally amongst the two women. The true mother cried out and pleaded with the king that the child be spared and given to the other mother. But the latter calmly accepted the judgment and agreed to the slicing of the child. Shlomo immediately ruled that the woman who frantically expressed her compassion was the child’s true mother.
It was four years ago on this day, the 22nd of Kislev, just a day after the Alter Rebbe celebrated his Didan Notzach, that the Shomrim Six were vindicated from the vicious blood libel and Messirah against them by the Meshichist Mossrim faction.
Shomrim did not celebrate the verdict as a victory, but as a salvation. The motto of cases conclusion rested in the song which is sung at Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengens around the world, “Podo Beshalom Nafshi… Anshei Domim Umirma Lo Yechtzu Yemaihem” ([g-d] has redeemed my soul in peace… men of blood and swindle may their days be halved).
One of the most celebrated days for Chabad Lubavitch Chassidim comes as a result of a vicious Mesira by fellow Jews.
On the 19th of Kislev of the year 5559 from creation (1798), Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi — a leading disciple of Rabbi DovBer of Mezeritch and the founder of Chabad Chassidism — was released from his imprisonment in the Peter-Paul fortress in Petersburg, where he was held for 53 days on charges that his teachings threatened the imperial authority of the Czar. More than a personal liberation, this was a watershed event in the history of Chassidism heralding a new era in the revelation of the “inner soul” of Torah, and is celebrated to this day as “The Rosh Hashanah of Chassidism.”

Well, what is a moderate? Tell me, Snerdley, how would you, if somebody asked you to explain to ‘em what a moderate is, what would you say? It’s a liberal without the guts to say so. A moderate is one of two things: a liberal that won’t admit it or somebody that waits to see which way the wind’s blowing and joins the crowd. By definition, a moderate isn’t passionate about anything. Can’t be. But now we gotta go after the moderates.
Parshat Toldot, 5th Portion (Genesis 26:30-27:27)
34. And Esau was forty years old, and he married Judith, the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Basemath, the daughter of Elon the Hittite.
forty years old: Esau was compared to a swine, as it is said (Ps. 80:14): “The boar from the forest gnaws at it.” This swine, when it lies down, stretches out its hooves, as if to say, “See, I am a clean (kosher) animal.” So do these [the chiefs of Esau] rob and plunder and then pretend to be honorable. During the entire forty years, Esau kidnapped wives from their husbands and violated them. When he was forty years old, he said:“My father married at forty; I, too, will do the same.” [From Gen. Rabbah 65:1]
A grueling full day of jury selection took place in the New York State Supreme Court today, where six community members (all volunteers) are facing serious criminal charges and can face a possible lengthy prison sentence (of 15 plus years in a violent prison if found guilty).
The prosecution and the defense polled prospective jurors as to their work and interests in order to determine if they each can function as a fair and impartial judge based on the facts that will be presented during the course of the trial.
The six defendants are members of Shomrim who responded to an incident in December of 2007, which took place inside of 749 Eastern Parkway, one of the dormitories where Meshichist Bochurim who come from Israel to study in k’vutzeh reside. The incident began Erev Shabbos when a group of Meshichist Bochurim attempted to force another Bochur out of his room. When he showed resistance, the Bochur was attacked.
