Revealed: Part Of District Attorneys Opening For Shuchat Trial

by

The following transcripts are from the Districts Attorneys opening statement in the Shomrim Six trial, which took place only a short two years ago, during the months of November and December of 2009.

Most likely we will the privilege of  hearing these same lines being used at the trial of Shmira member Yitzchok Shuchat.

The following is but only snippets of the DA opening statement. WIS is only posting the relevant parts for this specific post. More to come in the future.

Assistant District Attorney David Wiess makes the opening statements:
Notice: reading the above transcripts you will notice (twice) that one of the descriptions the  DA gives the Shomrim “uniform”, is Shomrim logos on the knees. Funny right? Not really! There was a reason the DA made a point in mentioning that (twice). Later the complaining witnesess/Mossrim would do the same. This was a set up for a vicious blood libel. A separate detailed post will be dedicated just for this. You wont know if you should laugh of cry.

Lesson Of The Day: Don’t Throw Stones

June 27, 2011 By WhoIsShmira?

Our Rabbis taught: A man should not remove stones from his ground on to public ground. A certain man  was removing stones from his ground on to public ground when a pious man found him doing so and said to him, ‘Fool, why do you remove stones from ground which is not yours to ground which is yours?’ The man laughed at him. Some days later he had to sell his field, and when he was walking on that public ground he stumbled over those stones. He then said, ‘How well did that pious man say to me, “Why do you remove stones from ground which is not yours to ground which is yours?”‘ (Baba Kamma 50b)

The District Attorney will stick the following lines somewhere in between:

Your going to hear about many awards and letters of recognition the Shmira has received from many politicians, but remember that this case is an assault case, did Mr. Shuchat assault Mr. Charles on the night in question.
