this picture was taken earlier this week by a W.I.S. staff member and our poor chazzer belly doesnt look too good. his chin seems to have merged with his neck and he is now compeating in size with a whale, but who better to pose for a picture with, none other then levi hecht the guy you made mosser on aaron hershkop son of the esteemed shea hecht who is soooooo against messirah. disgusting pigs!

Many people managed to subsist only by illicit trade. Searches for
hidden goods went on relentlessly. Any furniture of quality was confiscated,
but the Germans believed that great stores of goods were still
hidden, and they went about their task like prospectors. They were

they were social outcasts among the other Jews and held in utter
contempt.
In spite of all this and more, life was going on. Cafes were open and
doing business. In the fall of 1940, however, something new was
happening: the construction of a large masonry wall embracing two
sections of the city was under way. Everyone wondered. what the
purpose of the wall was, but the German authorities never encouraged
queries.
